Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 July 2026
Boring Brief is operated by TikScript Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what personal data we collect through boringbrief.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
When you send us a brief through our form, we collect what you provide: your name, email address, brief details, deadline, target audience and production budget. If you email us directly, we hold the contents of that correspondence. Like most websites, we may also collect basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and device information, through standard web server logs.
2. How we use it
We use what you send us to respond to your brief, discuss a possible engagement, and deliver the work if we agree to take it on. We don't use your brief for anything beyond that engagement, and we don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
3. Where it's processed
Form submissions are handled by Formspree, a third-party form processor, before landing in our inbox. Formspree processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
4. How long we keep it
We keep brief submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry or deliver an engagement, then delete or archive it securely.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@tikscript.com.
6. Cookies
This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies set are limited to what's needed for the site, and embedded content such as TikTok video players, to function.
7. Changes
If we update this policy, the new version will be posted on this page.
