1. About these terms

Boring Brief is a creative service operated by TikScript Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). These terms apply to any engagement between us and a client (“you”) who submits a brief through boringbrief.com or otherwise engages us to work on a project.

2. The service

Boring Brief is a fixed-scope creative sprint. Once a briefing call has taken place, we deliver three campaign routes, one clear recommendation and the reasoning behind it, within 48 hours, followed by a walkthrough call. The exact scope of any engagement is confirmed in writing (including by email) before work begins.

3. Fees and payment

The standard fee for a Boring Brief sprint is £4,000 plus VAT where applicable, payable in advance unless we agree otherwise in writing. Anything outside that scope, such as paid media planning, production, or ongoing social management, is quoted and agreed separately.

4. Turnaround

The 48-hour delivery window begins once the briefing call has taken place and we have everything we reasonably need to get started. Delays caused by late or incomplete briefing information may push the delivery window back.

5. Intellectual property

Once the project is complete and paid for in full, ownership of the creative concepts, routes and materials we produce transfers to you. Until then, everything we produce remains the property of TikScript Ltd. We may reference completed, non-confidential work in our own portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to.

6. Confidentiality

Every brief is treated as confidential. We're happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before any sensitive information is shared, and we won't disclose your brief, your business information, or the work we produce for you to any third party without your consent.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel before the briefing call and you'll get a full refund. Once the briefing call has happened and work is under way, fees become non-refundable, since the 48-hour turnaround means we've cleared space and prioritised your project ahead of other work.

8. What we don't guarantee

We provide creative direction and strategic thinking, not a guarantee of commercial or viral outcomes. The case studies and view counts referenced on this site reflect results achieved for those specific past clients and campaigns, and aren't a promise of similar results for any future engagement.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
